- Purchases made at retail stores are not covered under this online exchange policy
- Orders placed via third-party platforms are not eligible
Exchange Within 3 Days
For exchanges made within 3 days of delivery, we offer the following benefits:
- 100% value of the original product will be applied towards the new purchase
- No making charges deducted if the product is unused and in original condition
- Original invoice and certificates must be provided
- Only one exchange per invoice is permitted
- Partial exchange of a product is not allowed
Conditions for Exchange
All exchange requests are subject to the following conditions:
- Quality check will be conducted upon receipt, which may take up to 3 working days
- All original documents must be submitted:
- Original invoice
- Insurance certificate
- Product certificate
- Complimentary gifts received with the purchase must also be returned
- Applicable taxes on the new purchase will be borne by the customer
Non-Eligible Products
Certain categories are not eligible for exchange:
- Customized or altered jewellery
- Smart Buy / made-to-order products
- Gold or silver coins and bars
- Silver articles
- Products purchased with promotional discounts or special offers
Exchange After 3 Days
Exchanges initiated after 3 days of delivery will be processed at prevailing market rates with applicable deductions:
- Exchange will be conducted at prevailing gold/diamond/stone market rates
- Original invoice and certificates must be provided
- Making charges, taxes, and stone weight will be deducted
- Any price difference must be paid by the customer
Exchange Value Calculation
The value offered during exchange is calculated as follows based on product type:
- Gold Jewellery: 100% of prevailing gold rate
- Diamond Jewellery:
- Gold component: 100% prevailing gold rate
- Diamond component: prevailing rate less original discount availed
- Platinum Jewellery:
- Platinum component at prevailing rate
- Diamond component at prevailing rate
- Gold Coins: 100% of prevailing gold rate
Restrictions
The following restrictions apply to all exchange requests:
- Jewellery cannot be exchanged into coins or bars
- Partial exchange of a single product is not allowed
- Only one exchange per invoice is permitted
Quality Check & Approval
All returned products undergo thorough inspection before the exchange is finalized.
- Quality inspection is conducted by our experts
- Process may take up to 3 working days
- Exchange value confirmed post inspection
- Final decision rests with Jawadi Gold and Diamonds
General Terms
The following general terms apply to all exchange transactions:
- Jawadi Gold and Diamonds reserves the right to evaluate and finalize the exchange value
- Exchange value will be applied against a new purchase only
- Applicable taxes on any new purchase must be borne by the customer
- This policy is subject to change without prior notice
- Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Chennai, Tamil Nadu
